AGA（男性型脱毛症）に対する治療として、プロペシア（フィナステリド）とザガーロ（デュタステリド）の2つは一般的な内服薬です。どちらも、AGAの進行を遅らせるために使用されますが、効果のメカニズムや有効性に違いがあります。ザガーロの方がプロペシアよりも有効性が高いとされるケースがありますが、個々の状況や症状によって異なるため、それぞれの違いと特徴を理解することが重要です。
1. プロペシア（フィナステリド）の特徴と効果
プロペシアの有効成分であるフィナステリドは、5α還元酵素2型を阻害することで、**ジヒドロテストステロン（DHT）**の生成を抑制します。DHTは、AGAの主な原因となるホルモンで、毛包（毛根）に作用して髪の成長を阻害します。
